The legislative branch consists of houses, much like the U.S. The first house is the house of commons, which consists of 308 members. The second is the senate, which has 105 members. lastly there is the canadian monarch which consists of queen elizibeth II and her governor general. canada's parliment is located at parliment hill in, canada's capital, ottowa.

step 2: the bill is studied
step 3: the commitee makes a report on the bill saying whether it should be accepted or not.
